For thousands of years, vetiver grass has been used to make roof thatches, rugs, baskets and curtains. Vetiver is a fragrant grass with long stems and flowers, but Vetiver essential oil is derived from the root of the plant. The vetiver plant is a perennial grass native to tropical regions in Asia. Incredibly thick, it can sometimes be slow to flow from the bottle, but patience is a virtue, and there’s nothing wrong with your oil!
